Since 1973, we’ve built rugged, battery-powered portable sound systems from the ground up in Southern California. Every speaker, every circuit board, every microphone you see come out of our doors has been designed, assembled, tested, and perfected by our in-house team.

At the heart of Anchor Audio’s operation is our circuit board production—a critical component that acts as the brain of every unit. Our SMT machines place each component with precision, followed by wave soldering and meticulous testing by our in-house technicians. This level of control isn’t possible with outsourced production, and that’s exactly why we’ve kept everything stateside.

We also hand-build our microphones, harnesses, and power systems. From the first screw to the final sound check, our team handles it all. Every finished product is fully assembled, tested, boxed, and shelved right here in our facility, ready to ship same-day when customers need gear fast.

That kind of agility and quality control gives us a unique advantage. Because our engineers, production crew, and customer support staff all operate under one roof, feedback loops are lightning fast. When a user has a suggestion or issue, we’re able to innovate and respond immediately. That’s something you simply can’t replicate in an offshore supply chain.
