The Anchor Audio Extended Battery Warranty covers and replaces defective Lithium Ion batteries.
If you are experiencing battery issues, call the Anchor Audio Technical Support team to help troubleshoot. If unsuccessful and under warranty, they will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Once you ship your product back to Anchor Audio with the RMA number clearly noted on the box, we will diagnose your unit to determine if it is a battery issue or unit malfunction.
The Anchor Audio Repair Team will replace and repair any necessary issues at no charge then ship the product back to you.
How do you know if your battery is defective?
A battery is considered defective when it is less than 60% of its original capacity, which equates to 4.5-amp hours or less for the Bigfoot, Beacon, Liberty, and Go Getter and 2.7-amp hours or less for the MegaVox and Acclaim.
The Extended Battery Warranty is significantly less expensive than purchasing new batteries for non-warranty units. See the estimated battery replacement comparison costs below:
|Battery Replacement Costs|
|Bigfoot||$355 + round trip shipping||$150 + one-way shipping|
|Beacon||$265 + round trip shipping||$100 + one-way shipping|
|Liberty||$265 + round trip shipping||$100 + one-way shipping|
|Go Getter||$175 + round trip shipping||$50 + one-way shipping|
|MegaVox||$175 + round trip shipping||$50 + one-way shipping|
|Acclaim||$175 + round trip shipping||$50 + one-way shipping|
Prices do not reflect shipping costs. With non-warranty battery replacements, the customer pays round trip shipping. With warranty battery replacements, the customer pays shipping to Anchor Audio, and Anchor Audio pays return shipping.
