Anchor introduces Growth Rebate Plan

Over the last couple years, the economy has taken a hard hit but Anchor Audio has continued to grow thanks to our reliable products and the loyalty of our dealers. To support our dealers, Anchor Audio would like to offer a new Tiered Growth Incentive Program in our 2011 calendar year. This program will offer credit back to our dealers who grow their business with us compared to the previous calendar year.

Here’s how it works:

First, exceed your 2010 total sales. Then you receive 2% back on any additional amount up to 50K. If your sales continue to grow, you may receive up to a 3% credit. See chart below.

Sales Last Fiscal Receive 2010 Total Sales + up to 50K 2%*
2010 Total Sales + 51K to 150K 2.5%*
2010 Total Sales + 151K and over 3%*

* Must hit 2010 total sales first to participate in the program

**Dealers will receive a credit memo for growth paid on a yearly basis (January 2012)
**If no growth is achieved then the dealer will not receive a credit
**Credit is given as a credit memo toward Anchor Audio product

Liberty Platinum… made for life!

“Several years ago (… over 10 years) we were setting up for a charity crawfish boil in the Corral at Texas Stadium in Irving, TX. We had the stage set and were using a Anchor Liberty MPB4500H as a monitor for the DJ who would play between bands. As we were finishing the set up, a severe thunderstorm popped up and suddenly the winds were blowing at 70+ MPH and we saw that the tent, a semi-permanent structure, over the corral was going to come down. When the structure collapsed, luck prevailed and there were no major injuries of the 50 or so people working in the area; one dislocated shoulder and a lot of scrapes, bumps and bruises.
Our gear, however, did not fare so well: The audio console took a hit by the center pole of the tent (roughly a 12″ diameter steel pole) and had a “V’ shape and the main speakers were knocked some distance from the stage, along with the Liberty speaker, which I found about 40 – 50 feet from where it had been placed. I don’t remember seeing the fabric that had been the roof anywhere near the area and it looked like a tornado had hit, but there had been no warning and the damage was very localized. The stadium itself had no damage.
Kicking into emergency management mode, we picked up the Liberty speaker near the stage and tried turning it on to direct clean up and organize people to attempt to carry on with the event. The Liberty worked flawlessly, in spite of the fact that it had been hit hard enough to travel a good distance – it has the marks to show that it slid on concrete. After some time, we were given approval to set up and have the boil underneath the stadium stands. After replacing the console, we set up without a stage and carried on – except for the move under the stadium structure, no one could tell that the mayhem a few hours earlier had occurred.

Anchor Audio Announces Price Increase Effective January 1st, 2011

We are proud to be your leading manufacturer of portale sound for over 30 years and we strive to deliver the highest quality products that are easy to use, easy to set up, and efficient. We know our economy has taken a dip in the past so we froze our prices for the last 18 months to offset this unfortunate circumstance.

As inflation continues to rise, our manufacturing costs are going up at accelerated rates. We are aggressively working to minimize costs while practicing lean manufacturing, but we are still seeing higher energy, machinery, shipping, and packaging costs. After an 18 month price freeze, Anchor Audio will be increasing the price of products by 4% effective January 1st, 2011. All products ordered after January 1st, 2011 will be billed at the new price.
