50+ Liberty Sound Systems Ship to Afghanistan

September 30th, 2009Posted by alexj in NewsAdd Comments

Last week we received a huge U.S. military order requesting over 50 of our Liberty Platinum portable sound systems. However, the best part of this story is not the order itself (which earned the company a free lunch by the way) but it was up to two of our salesmen, Scott and Jonathan, to make sure these systems got to the post office.

See this particular Government order had to ship through the good old United States Postal Service and not via our typical means, DHL or UPS. So it was up to Scott and Jonathan to load all 65 boxes into the truck, drop them off at the local post office and get them shipped to the US military overseas.

I was able to capture the hard work put into this “little” task with a couple photos below!

Explorer Pro falls off pickup…lives to tell about it!

September 25th, 2009Posted by alexj in News, QofTWAdd Comments

What will hopefully become a weekly occurrence on this blog is the Anchor Audio Quote of the Week. Every week I plan to share a short story, an interesting experience, or a product testimonial that we receive from Anchor Audio users all over the world.

The first “Quote of the Week” comes from Frank Johnston. He contacted us last Wednesday through the website with a question about a wireless microphone. However, he concluded his email with the following quote about an incident he had with his Explorer Pro sound system. After reading his email I just had to share, as it is a great testament to the ruggedness we try to incorporate in all our portable sound systems. Here’s his quote:

“By the way, the Explorer fell out of the back of my pickup and still works. A little scuffed up, but none the worse for wear. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Thanks.”

Thank you Frank for the email.

If you’d like to share your own short story, interesting experience, or product testimonial about Anchor Audio, please send them my way at robertf@anchoraudio.com. You can also send us your stories via our Contact Us page.

Look forward to hearing from all you Anchor Audio users out there.
