Anchor dealers Cinequip White, Inland AV, Nationwide AV and Evolution AV previewed the new Anchor ProLink wireless intercom and CouncilMAN conference system. Anchor received rave reviews, and more trips are scheduled for Anchor dealers.

Anchor Audio visits Camp Pendelton

Anchor Audio recenty visited Camp Pendelton to search for product ideas, and see what they thought of Anchor’s products. In driving by the base you get a sense for how big it is, but it isn’t until you are on the base grounds that you realize it is a city in itself. They have their own bowling alley, pizza hut, police & fire dept., and a lot of toys. Currently they are investing about $8 billion dollars to build a new hospital, and revamp a bunch of already existing complexes. The people that we met with on the base that use our equipment had nothing but positive compliments, and were very impressed by the reliability and quality. Most notably the AN-Mini which they claimed to use for a setting with 1,500 people! Overall, it was a very good trip even though my request to drive the tank was denied…oh well.

Travel with Jeff – Back to School

A couple weeks ago salesman Jeff Smith traveled to Cincinnati Ohio to do a little product training and represent Anchor Audio at School Outfitters’ 2009 Vendor Fair. School Outfitters is a large supplier of school supplies and one of Anchor Audio’s biggest dealers. Let’s follow Jeff on this trip and see if he makes the grade.

…but apparently that does not faze Jeff one bit!

Lands in Ohio where his red chariot awaits. Looks like Jeff traveled the streets of Cincinnati in style.

Travel with Mark: The Search for Liberty

In this latest installment of “Travel With” we find salesman Mark Cluff in New York, New York with the task of tracking down a Liberty 6000 portable sound system and snapping a few photos for “research”.

Thanks to an anonymous tip, Mark heads to the New York Central Park Zoo to see if he can’t catch a Liberty system in action.

Mark first checks the Central Garden, a known hiding spot for Liberty sound systems. No luck at the garden.

Next Mark heads over to the large sea lion tank, but there would be no sign of the Liberty there either.

Finally Mark spots something in the bushes near two Zoo employees setting up for an upcoming show. Of course, the ideal location for a Liberty sound system…an outdoor event.

Mark goes in for a closer look of the system.

Knowing that the Liberty likes to travel in packages, Mark spots the second companion speaker during the kids show.

Mark takes one last picture of the Liberty systems in their element, projecting crystal clear speech at an outdoor event.

Mark heads back to Torrance California to hand these pictures off to the marketing department so they can make a cheesy blog post for everyone to enjoy!

Travel with Jose, Part 2: That’s a Bunch of Barcelona

Yesterday we traveled to France for Part I of Jose’s trip to Europe. In Part II, we find Jose in Barcelona Spain visiting with another dealer as well as observing several locations where Anchor Audio sound systems are being used.

Jose’s first stop was at the Power 94 headquarters.

Power 94 has been a trusted Anchor dealer for many years. Here Jose gets a tour of the Power 94 shop from the president, Jose Luis.

A full rack of Liberty portable sound systems. We like to see that!

After a quick visit with Power 94, Jose heads over to Escola Pia, a school in Sabadell.

Here Jose and Jose Luis from Power 94 tour the campus to see some Anchor Audio systems in action.

This classroom has the AN-130 speaker monitor installed above the chalk board so teachers can have their instructions projected loud and clear to every student.

Looks like school is out and so is Jose, off to his next stop.

La Salle Bonanova, another elementary school in Barcelona.

Jose Luis and the principal of the school are discussing the setup for an outdoor assembly with the use of our Liberty Platinum 7500 sound systems.

After the school assembly, Jose makes a quick getaway to his last destination.

Visiting a Red Cross facility where they have a couple of AN-130 speaker monitors installed in their training classrooms.

Jose says goodbye as he drives by the Barcelona Arena on his way to the airport.

Travel with Jose, Part 1: The French Connection

Last week Jose Hernandez landed in Gennevilliers, France to do some product training and spread the good word about Anchor Audio. Below is part one of Jose’s trip.

Pulling up to the hotel early Saturday morning…

First order of business…eat at McDonald’s…really!?

Next stop was Intelware to train their staff on the latest Anchor Audio has to offer.

Jose in action, showing off all the features on the Liberty Platinum 7500.

Taking the training outdoors, Jose demonstrates the Acclaim portable lectern just outside Intelware’s warehouse.

After a long successful day of training, Jose and the Intelware team are off to celebrate.

Nobody knows how to party like Jose! After some good food and wine, Jose is ready for part two of his trip.
