50+ Liberty Sound Systems Ship to Afghanistan

September 30th, 2009Posted by alexj in News

Last week we received a huge U.S. military order requesting over 50 of our Liberty Platinum portable sound systems. However, the best part of this story is not the order itself (which earned the company a free lunch by the way) but it was up to two of our salesmen, Scott and Jonathan, to make sure these systems got to the post office.

See this particular Government order had to ship through the good old United States Postal Service and not via our typical means, DHL or UPS. So it was up to Scott and Jonathan to load all 65 boxes into the truck, drop them off at the local post office and get them shipped to the US military overseas.

I was able to capture the hard work put into this “little” task with a couple photos below!

Scott dreading the task ahead while Jonathan looks rather optimistic. This would soon change.

What happened to the smile Jonathan? See that didn’t take long.

Working hard or hardly working? I can’t tell.

Loading the last couple of boxes on the truck.

Off to the post office with one packed truck.

Arrived at the box office without a casualty, good job guys! Now get those boxes inside.

The guys get a little help from Jose Hernandez to get all 65 boxes labeled and ready for shipment.

Looks like all the hard work and hustle paid off. The post office trip was a success and the Liberty Platinum sound systems are now on their way to Afghanistan to help support the troops. Well done!
